So as I&#039;m instructing clients on developing nominating grids, I always tell them to start by looking at their strategic plan. If they ask, &quot;What kinds of skills, talents, and abilities will we need on our board during the next 3+ years,&quot; they should be able to describe for any potential board nominee exactly why he/she is the perfect fit for their board and for the work ahead of them.</description>
