Financial Management Training Program

If you have questions about nonprofit finance, Nonprofits Assistance Fund can help you find the answers.

Our Approach

Our trainers explain nonprofit finance in ways that make sense to new staff members as well as experienced CEOs and board presidents.  They will walk you through the material in everyday English and use real world examples to illustrate the how financial management impacts your organization.

We offer a range of practical and affordable skill-building trainings throughout the year and across the state designed to empower participants to manage their organization’s finances.  From specialized in-person trainings to webinars to peer-learning networks, we have financial management training options for everyone. Learning tracks help participants find the most appropriate training and materials. You can start with Fundamentals and work your way to more advanced classes or pick and choose the topics that meet your needs at a particular time.

Empowering nonprofit financial leaders

Nonprofits Assistance Fund and Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Financial Management Workshops

We are partnering with the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits to present our financial management workshops. This collaboration helps us fulfill our mission of building financially healthy nonprofits by allowing us to provide training to more organizations in the Twin Cities metro and in Greater Minnesota. It also gives us additional capacity to develop new trainings and resources to meet changing needs and address emerging issues.

Financial Management Webinars

Through our webinars we provide online financial management training that you can access wherever you are. We adapted our curriculum specifically for online learning. They use the same practical examples and common sense language workshops and include customized, interactive features.
