About Nonprofits Assistance Fund
Since 1980 we have been helping nonprofits thrive. We provide loans that help nonprofits realize their visions, financial management training and resources that promote healthy financial practices, and guidance to nonprofit staff on strategic financial planning and management.
MISSION
At Nonprofits Assistance Fund, our mission is to build financially healthy nonprofits that foster community vitality. As a 501(c)(3) Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), we support nonprofits through transformational lending, encouraging healthy financial practices, and by providing strategic financial guidance. Our partnerships with nonprofits in Minnesota and its adjacent communities allow these organizations to focus their energies on achieving their goals and serving others, rather than worrying about their own financial situation.

What we do

To encourage healthy financial practices in the nonprofit community we offer a range of skill-building workshops and practical resources. No matter your financial background, we have a workshop that will help you develop and strengthen your financial management skills. The workshops are designed by Nonprofits Assistance Fund to meet the needs, budget, and busy schedule of nonprofit staff.
