Nonprofits Assistance Fund has drawn on years of experience to create a workshop designed specifically for nonprofit boards. Financial Clarity for Nonprofit Boards provides practical information and tools that will help your board take the next step. We customize this training for your organization, using your financial reports - not an anonymous case study. It's an interactive, hands-on, guided tour of your financial statements.The training includes
- Exploring the financial roles and responsibilities of the board
- Reading the financial reports and identifying terms and definitions
- Interpreting financial information
- Understanding your organization's key financial questions and concerns
The guided tour of your financial reports includes
- Discussing your needs with the executive director and treasurer before the training session
- A complete review of your financial information
- A one-hour training with entire board as part of the regular board meeting using your financial reports - not an an
- Materials and guides to help your board beyond the training
- Follow up with the executive director after the training is complete
Costs
- $200 for nonprofits with an annual budget less than $1.5 million.
- $350 for nonprofits with larger budgets.
- Additional travel fees may apply.
